Humbert Humbert

Good writers, throughout artifices of style, can give life to their characters. Sometimes the stories they tell seem so real that we do not want it all to end, inevitably, at the end of the story, at the end of the book… From many books we read in the past, we memorized characters and situations that have affected our perception of reality. We couldn’t care less if they were fictional or real, since there is no way to point it out, when reading. In literature, fiction and reality report feelings the same way.

This publication honors the diary as the privileged place of self-expression, through the selection of excerpts from some literary and videographic works that influenced me in the course of my life. Also, it was named Humbert Humbert after Nabokov’s character, from its novel, Lolita. Humbert Humbert is divided by colored paper sections: tributes to love, hate and documental.
