Expanded Music Chart

Expanded Music Chart analyzes the limitations of computer's black box and searches for creative solutions to overcome its restrictions. Through the manipulation of image CSS coding, we managed to create distortions that subverted the utility purposes of the programming language. This video project was initially a website where a list of 20 manipulated album covers were presented to the user. Using the scroll, the user could process a purely mechanical, but sublime, aesthetic experience. Later on, it became necessary to transpose this experience outside the boundaries of internet. This video applies to sound the previous image effects - to the expanded/’stretched’ album cover was associated the sound of its expanded/'slower' music.
